LATISM Charlotte announces Social Media Masquerade

 
The Charlotte Chapter of Latinos In Social Media (LATISM) announces its official launch party – Social Media Masquerade – will take place on Thursday, October 27 from 6pm – 9pm at Gil Gallery, 109 West Morehead Street, in uptown Charlotte. Get a jump on your Halloween plans and join us for this festive event set against one of Charlotte’s hottest contemporary art galleries.
 
As part of the organization’s commitment to raise awareness of Latino concerns through education, collaboration and mobilization, LATISM Charlotte will feature art and entertainment by various Charlotte Hispanic artists and entertainers. Attendees will be given a complimentary masquerade mask designed by artist Edwin Gil and will Tweet their experiences and images throughout the evening.Social Media Masquerade is free and open to the public. Complimentary, hand-painted mask will be provided by artist Edwin Gil to the first 75 people through the door.
